An early prospect on the Galena Claim, this claim was later developed by the profitable Lowell shaft. Workings on the property consisted of a 12ft. tunnel with 10ft. winze in at end. The property was owned by J.T. Bland & S. W. Salamon & Company in February 1882.  Note: This is a different mine from the Galena shaft.
