Chapman Shaft
This shaft like, the Bullard Mine was probably a small air raise that was converted to a shaft for use by lessees. Also, like the Bullard this shaft was probably named after the lessees working the property. In this case it was Frank Chapman. It operated in 1923 and its exact location is unknown or the working was renamed and is yet unidentified. This mine/working was most likely in the Czar-Holbrook mine area. It could not be determine whether this shaft even extended to the surface. There is a possibility it was similar to the Thursby incline and was an interior shaft.
