Air Receiver Car
Air receivers are storage tanks for compressed air. Air recievers were needed in the distant underground work places, for storing compressed air. They lessened the demands on the main air lines and allowed a constant pressure to be delivered to the equipment .The air receiver car at the Queen Mine tours is a tank mounted on a long version timber truck. This car was altered to carry water to wet down the mine by Toby Valdez in the 1980’s.
