The #4 claim was actually more of a mine than many of the so called mines of the Warren Mining District. The Copper Queen Consolidated Mining Company mined this ground for manganese during the World Wars.  During World War I this claim produced 1,500 tons of manganese ore. It is located near the Nighthawk Mine
